Domain Registration

A domain name is your address on the Internet. It's where people can find you, and it serves as your online identity. Businesses typically register domain names with their company name or even their product names. Individuals often register family names or names that have a personal interest to them. Domain parking is a free service where we host your domain on the iSAT Servers, but there are no mail or web services hooked into the domain (as soon as a website is added hosting fees will be charged). If you're not quite ready to start building a web site, you can just register the domain name to ensure that you can use it in the future. iSAT will automatically provide you with a placeholder page telling visitors that the site is "Under Construction". You could also have your email addresses linked to your domain name (e.g. info@yourdomainname.co.za). Whatever your situation, if there's a particular domain name that you want, it's good to register it quickly. There is no guarantee that a domain name which is available today will still be available tomorrow.

Email

Each type of iSAT mailbox comes with a certain number of free email addresses (i.e. joe@domain.com). You can increase the number of addresses at a cost of R5 each. There is however a limit to the number of email addresses you can add to each Mail Option. In other words, if you have the Mail A option, but need 7 email addresses, you will have to upgrade to the Mail B option. If you have a Mail C option account and wish to make use of more than 50 addresses, you can acquire a second mailbox. See the tables below for more information.

The statistics include the following information:

• most requested pages;
• least requested pages;
• referring pages;
• busiest time of the day.

Please note that this product is only available to clients who have a web site hosted by iSAT.
